One (1) dedicated server for execution.
One (1) dedicated back-up server (Applications).

Processors: Quad CPU, 1.5GHz or greater.
Memory: 8 GB.
Hard disk space: 150GB.

Software Requirements

IBM WebSphere Application Server v6 or higher (OR).
BEA WebLogic V8.2 or higher.
Systems software supporting these applications servers.

Database Server

Recommended Database Server Hardware

A total of two (2) hardware servers for the Application

One (1) dedicated server for execution.
One (1) dedicated back-up server (Database).

Processor: Dual CPU, 1.GHz or greater.
Memory: 8 GB.

Oracle Database v9i or higher.
SQLServer 2005.
DB2.

Each HQ user requires a workstation of minimum specification.

Network Connected.
Minimum web browser requirements : IE 5.5+ or Firefox 1.5+

In-Store Options

Browser-based thin client
Where the network connection between HQ and stores are high-speed broadband, each store associate generating store print output, requires a workstation of minimum specification

Thick client
Where the network speeds are inadequate for browser based store execution and/or where the stores may be executing with a local POS solution that requires direct store connectivity, such as experienced in franchise models, SIQ has an optional thick client component that is installed in the store.
