Impulselogic, Inc’s StoreLogIQ (SLIQ) is Powered by Oracle Cloud and Now Available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace
Oracle Cloud Customers Can Use SLIQ to reverse inventory distortion losses that represent up to 7.5% of total store sales
San Ramon, CA – June 7, 2019
Impulselogic, Inc. the developer and a leading provider of StoreLogIQ SLIQ and Silver level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced that its advanced store inventory management (SIM) solution, SLIQ, has achieved Powered by Oracle Cloud status and is now available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Offering added value to Oracle Cloud customers, the SLIQ solution enables retailers to reverse inventory distortion losses to a level that can increase operating profit.
This is proven in a less-than 90-day trial without requiring changes to existing systems or pre-processing of data sources. The speed of implementation through to proof is enabled by the Oracle Cloud, but the performance in a highly scalable environment is the major differentiator; having to coincidentally manage big data with high-volume OLTP activity.
“The biggest advantage is a quick demonstration and fast time-to-money where the increases in operating profit are realized without changing existing systems; rather enabling those systems to benefit from the more accurate inventory and demand analyses coming from SLIQ,” said Impulselogic CEO, Les McNeill. “Impulselogic’s participation in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace further extends our commitment to the Oracle community and enables customers to easily reap the benefits of SLIQ. We look forward to leveraging the power of Oracle Cloud to help us achieve our business goals.”
The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is a one-stop shop for Oracle customers seeking trusted business applications and service providers offering unique business solutions, including ones that extend Oracle Cloud Applications. Oracle Cloud is the industry’s broadest and most complete public cloud, delivering enterprise-grade services at every level of the cloud technology stack including platform as a service (PaaS), and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
“In the food/grocery sector of retail we now see operating profits dropping below 2.5% coincidental with a rate of change exposing problems needing to be addressed in days and weeks, rather than months and years,” added McNeill. “With SLIQ, retailers can isolate the stores and optimize their performance through improved processes related to the management of in-store inventory with specificity to both salesfloor and backroom warehousing. SLIQ assures salesfloor availability at all times so long as the product exists in backroom inventory.”
The Powered by Oracle Cloud status recognizes OPN member solutions that have been tested or verified to run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This achievement offers customers confidence that the partner's application is supported by the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure SLA, enabling them to have full access and control over their services as well as consistent performance.
The Oracle Cloud Marketplace offers an intuitive user interface to browse and search for available applications and services, as well as user ratings and reviews to help customers determine the best business solutions for their organization. With its new automated application installation features, customers can easily deploy provider business applications from a centralized cloud interface.
Impulselogic is a US software engineering operation focused on solving retail’s most critical problem; that of inventory distortion and the losses this creates. Essentially, and rightly, perceived as a supply chain problem, all attempts to resolve through improved centrally developed demand forecasting solutions have failed. The real solution must start with the stores and that required a different stores’ inventory management function. The design and development of the Company’s flagship StoreLogIQ (SLIQ) was initiated in late 2015 to address the missing piece necessary for the shift of historical “supply” to a true demand chain that extends efficacy to the salesfloor and maximizes return on inventory for every store product. Only with assured salesfloor availability can stores compete for the customer; whether in-store or on-line. This is the Company focus and SLIQ is the problem solution.
